thanks for the assistance with my settings......i'd like to tell a

part of my story and get some suggestions and/or information......i

had a bilateral mastectomy in jan of 2001....the process leading up

to this decision (as i had a couple of options in reaction to my

LCIS/DCIS diagnosis) was stressful, to say the least........i did

consult more than one surgeon/PS team.....i ended up trusting one

team, and decided on immediate reconstruction, with silicone

implants, which was done in march of 2001......my PS, whom i hate,

put in a larger size than i had requested (he also made remarks about

my body, but i never thought he would do something like this)......i

fought for a year, and in jan 2002, i had smaller ones

implanted........i still had no idea about silicone complications,

nor permanent nerve damage......both my docs, the komen web site,

mentor web site, local support goups, all encouraged the

silicone......well, now i know a lot more....and i am in 24/7 pain of

all kinds.......and all kinds of questions about explanting........i

cannot find any medical assistance in the phoenix, az area.......in

fact, i can't find anyone in arizona who seems to know anything about

all the necessary care when doing explanting........beyond that, my

PCP says my insurance wouldn't cover such a surgery, and my pain is

just " the way it is " ........i do not want to live the rest of my life

like this..........thanks for listening.....i wish us all healing and

help to find it..........
