Thank you, Hi , I am currently training to run a half marathon on Sep 5th for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I would like to include your daughter in my run. Can you email a recent picture of her to me so that I can clip it to my shirt for the run? My heart goes out to you and your daughter. My very good friend of 22 years was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease in January. She had progressed to phase IV, which is the final phase before no treatment can help. As of July 4th, she had completed her seventh chemo treatment and all test showed that the cancer was no longer anywhere in her body. I became convined that anything is possible after witnessing her recovery. Guest guest
Sara, My daughter's name is Faustina. She has what was defined to me as High Risk, Pre-Cursor B, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has been in the hospital since 7/5 and seemed to be responding slowly to the chemo, but responding just the same. Earlier this week, she somehow got a blood infection that started shutting down all her body functions: liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, etc. She has had a number of serious relapses since her initial recovery, including an episode as recent as 6:35 this morning, but, by 7:20, the doctors have her stabilized again. Beyond the care of the doctors and nursing staff at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, prayers are about the only other option we have. Guest guest
I'm praying for little . There's nothing more heartbreaking than watching our children suffer. God be with you. Val Re: to Sara, My daughter's name is Faustina.
