Guest guest
Kim You probably experienced a herx reaction. That means that the epsom salts were stirring up toxins. That is a good sign. I have herxed to epsom salts. Some people do, and some don't. You should probably reduce the amount of epsom salts or the amount of time you soak next time and work up to larger amounts. Also, don't do it daily. May a few times a week. Guest guest
It definitely is not a coincidence and as Kathy mentioned earlier, it is a herx reaction. If the symptoms are severe, I would not do it again until you have detoxed more in other ways. If you detox some first, continuing with the baths later on won't be as bad. You don't want to feel terrible each time you take an epsom bath. If the herx wasn't terrible, than by all means take her advice and bath a couple of times a week in an epsom salt bath. Guest guest
What is your diet like? Do you drink lots of purified water? How about supplementation? Give me an idea of what you are doing now and I'll try to help you. Guest guest
I have cut out all sugar.I am eating very naturally...I think.I only eat basics like vegetables and lean meat.I am doing this because everytime I carbs, sugar, processed foods or fruit I get intense brain fog and get so tired I want to cry.I have been following this for about a week.I drink nothing but purified water.I am not taking any supplements at all.I am excersizing very minimally because I am so exhausted most of the time. I would like to send in pictures of what i look like now with my implants because I think they look fairly distored and may help someone to realize how these things can change over time...but how?I am not at all good on the computer....LOL Thank you so much for all of your helpful advice.Kenda Skaggs <skaggs@...> wrote: What is your diet like? Guest guest
Hi, I am out the door to go show my dog in obedience and only have a couple of minutes to spare right now. If you have more questions, please write back and I'll answer them tonight. Are you eating healthy carbs, like brown rice and other unprocessed grains? If not, you are omitting an important food group. I know all the hype right now is low carb but I don't agree with it. Every body needs good carbs, not bad carbs. Do you get the brain fog even with good carbs? You might add a liver supplement like Adva Clear made by Metagenics. You can buy it from myhealthfirst.com, they have the best prices I have found. It is pretty gentle but you might want to start out at 1/2 dose to make sure you don't herx taking it. The herxing you are experiencing is a good indicator that you really NEED to detox. It looks like you are doing well on your diet, aside from omitting good carbs. Do try to eat as many organic foods as possible. The pesticides and additives in commercial foods could be enough to cause you problems. If you want to send photos, I think you can attach them to an email and send it to the group. Problem is those on digest or that view the posts on the website won't be able to see them. You can post them to the website we received the other day but I have no idea how to do that. Guest guest
Kim, I'm a little late in responding . . . I've had house guests, etc. etc. . . People who have diabetes, poor circulation, or open wounds should not use Espom salt baths! Otherwise, it does sound like a herx. I hope you're feeling better by now. The trick to detoxing is to find a balance between detoxing and the herxes so you don't herx so badly you can't bring yourself to continue detoxing. Anytime you try a new program, go easy at first until you know what happens. The good thing about herxes, as bad as they feel at the time is that, when it's over, you'll feel better than you have in some time! The next time, use less Epsom salts, cooler water, or stay a shorter time. If you feel yourself herxing, be sure to drink plenty of water to flush toxins that get stirred up out of your system. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
K, Did you get your question answered? . . . There are soooooo many detox programs! . . . I'd suggest checking our archives for ideas. Also www.curezone.com has a bunch too. One method I consider a jump start is a liver detox program. . . there are a number of those . . .Some are fast, others slow and gentle. I won't recommend one over another because that's a personal decision. Just drinking a lot of pure water is one way to detox! .. . . One product, Fungal Defense, is a good start to a detox program. You can find it online . . . www.appleadayandbeyond.com is one. Kathy found you can get better prices by calling and telling them you're in a support group that recommended them. You will need one bottle of Fungal Defense . . . followed by Primal Defense for months. Fungal Defense acts to kill off negative organisms and Primal Defense builds back the postive organisms we need to keep the negative organisms in check. . . Start slow - one capsule the first day, two the second, etc. . . until you're up to eight capsules a day . . . Same with Primal Defense. I'm recommending this on the assumption you have a systemic fungal problem going on because most of us who have been implanted do. You can check yourself by spitting in a glass of water the first thing in the morning, before putting anything in your mouth. check it after 15 minutes. If it's clear, you pass. However, if there's a milky blob floating, a blob sunken to the bottom, or chunks floating, it indicates a problem. This isn't scientific. However, it's free and it tracks very well with how well you follow a good diet and take antifungal supplements. Raw, crushed, fresh garlic is one of the best antifungals there is . . . almost free! . . . A theraputic dose can be as much as 12 cloves a day! . . .. Start slow and work up gradually though! Oil of Oregano and Olive Leaf extract can help get rid of bad stuff too . . . Sweating, whether through exercise, hot baths, or saunas is very beneficial. . . Deep theraputic massage is excellent too . . . However, don't try to do everything at once! . . . Decide what you feel comfortable with and start with one step at a time. We're talking about a long-term program here. The more diligent you are, the faster you will get better. BUT, if you get turned off of detoxing by herxing too much, you won't accomplish anything. Hope this helps! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
