Guest guest
---I went to Dr. Huang in Denver and i dont think she did them En Bloc but she did remove the capsule, she actually said i had a lot of scar tissue to remove. I felt better immediately, was so much better then implant surgery. My fatigue was gone within a week or two and most of my other symptoms were gone within a month. I still have a few problems but overall i am much better. I was a small C with implants and back to an A. I did loose some size, probably because of all the scar tissue, but they dont look bad at all. I was actually really suprised at how good they turned out. Now that wasnt right away, it took a good 2 months for their shape to return to normal. You prob. wont need a lift if you were a C with implants and only had them 3 ish years. Have you found a doctor yet? I dont know the doctors they recommened for your area but im sure there is someone. A few people have told me about it and its where they take the implant and and the capsule " scar tissue " out. I was told that unless I have this removed I could still have the symptoms after. How fast was your recovery time and how painfull was it for you? Im only a C now but before I was an A, Im thinking that I might need a lift also but Im not sure as of now. I have had my implants in for 3 1/2 years. > Thank you > > > > > --------------------------------- > FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click. >
Guest guest
Welcome ! . . . The en bloc procedure is where the " scar tissue " capsule is removed with the implant still inside. That's to prevent any fluids contained by the capsule from spilling into your chest cavity. Actually the capsule is not a scar because it has a blood supply. This blood supply helps spread toxins released from the implant throughout the body. It's been called a scar tissue capsule for years though. A total capsulectomy is where the complete capsule is removed - either en bloc, or in pieces. Obviously en bloc is preferable! . . . If a woman is symptomatic, the implant is old, or silicone, we consider the en bloc very important. Unfortunately most plastic surgeons don't take this seriously. That's why we have a relatively short list of recommended doctors! Hugs an prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
I'm looking for a doctor in my area! Does anyone know of a good doctor in Virginia, land, North Carolina? All of these areas are very close to me. I have to have these implants removed. I have read a few of your stories and it sounds like me. Over the past year I have changed everything from my lotion to my laundry soap. I have had punch biopsy done to both my breast. I have had skin patch testing to see what in my home might be causing this. I have been on more pills and creams in this past year then in my 23years put together. All this medication has caused weight gain(very hard for me to deal with)I didn't think after 19 different doctors told me it wasn't my implants that it really could be them. I read Jenna's story and I've been through everything she said. I had the doctor through the military come into the room and tell me my implants had nothing to do with my symptoms. He them continued to tell me that the time line wasn't right. If it was my implants I would have had problems before now. I've had them just over three years. So he said he would take them out if that's what I wanted but that he would bet a pay check it wouldn't make me better. So my husband and I left and I'll never go back to him. I don't want someone with that bed side manner to work on me. I just know if I have them taken out the military will pay since it's medical but I don't know if I'll get that same treatment if I go elsewhere. There is plenty of military medical centers here where I live I just don't know if they would be as good as another. I know they are doctors also but this is my body and I have to live with the outcome for the rest of my life. I'm only 23yrs so I hope that's a long time.I'm just scared to take that first step. My husband is here holding my hand through it all and he'll be here no matter what the outcome is so that's a good feeling. I'm not worried about what he'll think I'm more worried about how I'll take it all. He'll tell me I'm beautiful in the end no matter what but it's when I look in the mirror.Thank you all so much for all your stories and comments. You've made this whole thing a lot less lonely for me. Thank you,
Guest guest
, As young as you are, you probably won't need a lift. BUT the only person who can tell you that is the doctor. He/she will know when they examine you if your skin is elastic enough to go back in shape. Wearing a snug, but comfortable sports bra 24/7 until healing is well underway will help the internal scar tissue support you. Regardless, you should not be deformed or disfigured in any way. You will have thin scars that fade to almost invisible over time. Right after surgery, you may look a little weird . . . that's to be expected. But you will start " fluffing " in a few weeks. Almost every women here has been satisified with how they look after explant. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
, This is our list of doctors http://f1.grp.fs.com/v1/wFBgQ5iTTfhout9GraY9u3vNz2dd7g-V2-b3tLXZBvmCZfkBQtM\ PZhUS9YvCqgPd8NSrx8GV6y1z-5KUFW62/Dr.%20List%20for%20proper%20explant If the link doesn't work, go to the bottom of this message where it says " Saline Support " . . . click on it . . . then click on " Files " in the left hand column. Go down the list to " Recommended Doctors for Proper explant " . . . After you check the doctors, you may want to ask if anyone has used those doctors and what they thought of them. . . It blows me away that doctors can be so blind to problems caused by breast implants! . . . I guess that, if the FDA says it's safe, they accept it without question! . . . Well, THEY ARE ALL WRONG! If you'd like to tell the FDA about your experience, I'd suggest contacting Mrs. Leonard <nml@...>, or you can call her at 800 638-2041 ext 141. The FDA is under the false assumption that saline implants are safe! Also, be sure to fill out a MedWatch report! . . . did you receive a link when you joined ? If not, I can send you one. Guest guest
Dr. Feng is in cleveland ohio. THat isnt really far away. I live in Illinois and I travelled to have her do the surgery. She has done many many explants and will do the procedure right. I would have alot more faith in her than someone I know nothing about. You are right not to go back to that other doctor. Believe me, he wouldn't do the job right and then you might not get well. Take heart, we have all been in your shoes. By the way, I had a doctor tell me he wanted to do six punch biopsies on my vaginal orifice and I told him no way. I had vulvadynia but he had to make sure it wasn't something else (so he said). Well I found out about what to do somewhere else and also researched it on my own. I didn't have the signs of vulvar cancer so I stood firm. I am now virtually free of vulvar discomfort and the biopsies would have been a painful waste of time. I think getting those implants out will really help considerably and so will detoxing afterward. I basically feel that most doctors don't know what they are talking about and we need to take charge of our own health. Many of us have gotten well by researching ways to detox our bodies and strengthen our immune systems without doctors. My husband died due to medical malpractice. I place far more confidence in God and His leading me to the right things to get well. Hugs, kathy --- In , " Mike " <iceman18152000@y...> wrote: > > I'm looking for a doctor in my area! Guest guest
- HI, I don't know if this will help with your implants still in, but I have had some really good results using Miracle 2 products. They can help with rashes, etc. You can buy the soap and the neutralizer. YOu can bathe in it, use it as shampoo, use it as a detox bath, you can use the neutralizer internally as it is very alkalinizing and it will help with all kinds of skin conditions. I bought mine at appleadayandbeyond but you can research it anywhere. You can also use the same products to clean virtually anything with absolutely no chemicals. I think it would be worth buying and using exclusively until surgery. It won't hurt you, it will help you detox, and it may very well help. Personally I think it will help but you won't see as much improvement as you could until you get those implants out. I definitley think you should be taking oil of oregano and/or olive leaf extract too. Your body is toxic.
