Guest guest
Daryl, I was recently given a prescription for Sporanex, a new antifungal prescription drug. The dose was 2 in the am, 2 pm and 2 in the am again and that's it. It worked wonders, very quickly. If you can get a doctor to prescribe some for you, it would be worth it to jump start your anti-sugar/candida diet. Unfortunately, the only way to avoid the candida from coming back is to avoid things that cause the yeast to grow and adding probiotics into your diet. Sporanex can be tough on the liver so if you have liver problems, don't take it. Simply adding Nystatin as a rinse may help your mouth but it won't help your systemic candida. Guest guest
Lea and Daryl, Something that may help with the burning tongue is to eat plain yogurt . . . It contains active organisms that will help combat yeast organisms. Hugs, Rogene

Guest guest
I preferred it to Diflucan. It worked completely in two days, I have to take Diflucan for several days to get the same result. Guest guest
What worked for my tongue was Nystatin, Diflucan & Primal Defense...I also ate yogurt (with active cultures) every day. Hope you find something to work for you...a sore tongue is the worst! Good luck to you, Cheryl
