Guest guest Posted November 8, 2004 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 Hi , First of all, I was so sorry to hear about your home situation and IMHO you need to get yourself and kids out of that abusive situation ASAP. Unfortunately rental housing is outrageous in the OC. I have 2 daughters living in apartments. One is paying $1050 a month for a one bedroom (and she got a good deal) the other is paying $1400 for a 2 bedroom (she is sharing with 3 other girls). Another kid I know pays $900 for a studio. These apartments are all in average quality complexes with community facilities like swimming pools and gyms. My friends rent their 2300 sq. ft.single family home for $2200. If you would like me to mail you the rental living supplement from the Orange County Register I would be happy to do that - but I guess it could be tricky?
