Guest guest
Hello Sis, Wow, what time is your surgery set-up for? I'm going in at 10:30, at Abbott-Norwestern in Minneapolis. What kind of symptoms do you have? I have elevated ANA, creatine and fibro (just in my chest, back and neck). I had my saline implants put in 1996, after my son had nursed my chest away. I am 41, but sometimes I feel much older due to the daily pain. I hope everything goes well for you and all of our group members. Guest guest
Hi Carol - I don't know what time yet, my doctor's office said they would be able to tell me a time as the date gets closer. I'll be in Ohio with Dr. Feng. I've had the implants for 5 and a half months, and within two weeks I was reacting to them. It started with sore lymph nodes, and then I had joint swelling that came and went, anxiety, sugar suddenly made me have palpitations, heartburn, and more recently throbbing in my temples. My finger tips and tips of my toes also feel strange, kind of a sore/numb feeling. The joint swelling is pretty much here all the time now, too. I'm 45. All of my bloodwork still shows up negative, and I'm hoping that since I'm having them removed within 6 months means that I'll recover quickly. Good luck on the 7th! Guest guest
Sis, How did your surgery go? Mine went very smooth, I am feeling groggy and headachey from the meds; I don't do real well with them. I am feeling a bit down to see myself so flat, but I am hoping the change in my health, any amount, will eclipse that feeling... God Bless and take good care of yourself, Carol
Guest guest
Congradulations Sis and Carol, I've had houseguests the past several days and am just now checking my email! . . . It looks like a lot of good things are happening! Please take very good care of yourself, even if you feel you have extra energy! . . . Your body will take a little while to heal! It's very important to drink plenty non-chlorinated water right now! . . . Hugs and prayers, Rogene --- hennywin <hennywin@...> wrote: > Sis, > How did your surgery go? Guest guest
Hi Carol Congratulations on your surgery!! I thought I would be more bummed about being flat again, but my desire to get well definitely outweighs any of those feelings. Take good care of yourself too. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since my surgery, and though I still have my arthritic pain, I am feeling soooo much better otherwise, and so glad the surgery is behind me. I don't know about you, but I felt very hopeless for a long time - that I would have to accept that I would be sick the rest of my life. Now we have hope of recovery. That's exciting!! God bless you too!! Cherie > > Sis, > How did your surgery go? Mine went very smooth, I am feeling groggy > and headachey from the meds; I don't do real well with them. Guest guest
Hi Carol, I'm groggy as well, and fatigued. I think I may have responded in another message about this but I wanted to directly repond to your message as well.
