ankle in cast?

Thanks Rogene,

LOL, you're right! I think this was God's way of making me slow

down, because I just can't seem to do it on my own!

I was being clumsy--was getting into my jacuzzi and missed the

second step. It was excruciating at the time...that was a week ago

Sunday, the 16th. I finally decided to have it x-rayed on Monday,

the 23rd, because I have broken it before and didn't know it. This

time it isn't broken, thank God, but I tore the ligaments enough to

need a cast. Only for 2 weeks, but it is enough to drive me crazy!

Oh, Patty, I am so sorry. I know what that is like. I broke my foot in

Hawaii about 13 years ago (doing something maybe I should not have

done?????) and then again I broke the same foot (different place) on my way

back to Hawaii the next spring. I was terribly annoyed at myself. But, I

have never done anything like that again. I was just through with

explantation and I was so very ill, I think I was just a clutz. But, I

know you will heal and be as good as new! Just be sure and take good care

of those ligaments so they can heal. It does take more than 2 weeks to

completely heal, I am sure!

Thanks Lynda,

So you went through it too! Twice yet, yikes! I hope it is not

catching... : )

Hey Rogene, you better be careful with all of that square dancing

you do!

Patty,

I have often thought that my body was in such bad condition that maybe my

bones were not too strong at that time???

In any case, it was not my best year. Hopefully you will heal and never

have another problem.

Thanks Patty . . . I'm more likely to break an ankle

walking in the backyard! I've slipped many times! . .

..

The square dancing we do is less ardous than walking

in a mall! As one moves up the levels, it becomes more

mental and less physical. . . . However, if we knew

the calls better, the caller could call faster!

Two weeks doesn't sound too bad . . . However, I've

been told those ligament problems can be more painful

than breaks. . . . I'd just as soon not find out about

that though!
