Guest guest
Hi , I would separate MMS and Lugol's by 6 hours... I take my Lugol's early AM, MMS later in the day. Jim > > > Hello, > > It is said that MMS oxidizes metals in the body such as colloidal silver, and thus neutralizes them. What about iodine? If you take Lugols solution and MMS on the same day, will the MMS neutralize the iodine? > > Thanks, > >
Guest guest
Actually, I need to add more info about MMS affecting iodine... If you take Lugol's in the AM, wait 6 hours to take MMS... If you take Lugol's in the PM, just take 2 hours after MMS as MMS has a max life of 2 hours, then or before it converts to sodium chloride, simple salt.. I take mine mostly at night now a few hours away from MMS... Guest guest
Why be concerned about taking Lugol's close to MMS? It is a nonmetallic supplement. Many people, including myself, often take many other nonmetallic supplements within an hour of their next MMS dose. I read Humble's 4th edition from cover to cover and I don't remember anything about not taking iodine close to MMS. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Guest guest
Hi Andy, You are right about iodine not being metallic, but my only question about it is it has metallic like properties and since I am not sure what this may be, I prefer to take MMS alway from Lugol's just to be sure... If these " properties " are solids, then MMS may oxidize them ... I don't know if it oxidizes Lugol's for sure, but I personally would rather be safe than sorry... Hopefully Jim Humble will clarify this at some point.. http://www.webelements.com/iodine/ >>>Iodine exhibits some metallic-like properties.<<< Take care, Jim > > > > > > > > > Hello, > > > > > > It is said that MMS oxidizes metals in the body such as colloidal silver, and thus neutralizes them. Guest guest
Hi , You may be right about this... I've just always kept a little distance to be sure... But hearing you say this makes me less concerned...
