If the benefits far outweigh the risks than you are doing the right thing I think. It may be hard for me to say whats best but what I do know is recovery will not be easy. But then your situation is different than mine. As is everyones. I support you 150 percent. Having your husband and family there is the best medicine. Guest guest Posted November 3, 2005 Report Share Posted November 3, 2005 Well I had my consult and my surgery is set for 11/10. Wow one week! It is amazing how alone you can feel and how bad you can feel about yourself for making such a bad decision in the first place. I have a question though? My ps has told me to take Vit c, bromelain and betacarotine before surgery which I started yesturday and funny thing is I have felt so bad since then my neck aches and I am so dizzy.
