Dear Jackie,

I wish I had some easy answers for you, but I find myself in exactly the

same situation... tired of being sick all the time. Actually had 5 days

this week that I felt halfway human.... do you realize how long it has

been since I have had that much pain relief. The pain is back in full

force today, and I am probably looking at another sleepless night.

Nobody has ever suggested that my gallbladder might in any way be

connected to my problems. they should be able to do an ultrasound to

determine if you do have gallstones or anything else wrong with your

gall bladder. Will be praying for you when you see the surgeon on

Monday.... would suggest you start right now writing down questions for

the surgeon as you think of them. That way, you won't forget or

overlook anything. They can usually do gall bladder surgery

laproscopicly now, but it is still considered to be a major surgery and

not a decision to be entered into lightly. Go with your gut feeling

after discussing the situation with your surgeon. You might also want

to take a small tape recorder to your visit with the surgeon so you can

review what he said later so there are no unpleasant surprises at the

last minute.

gentle hugs,

Sharon

Faith...with it, miracles *CAN* and *DO* happen!

HI JACKIE:

I was sick just like you, but the drs. could not find anything wrong with me. I was sent to Emory Univeresity in Atlanta, GA. Finally a test was ran and I had a gallstone lodged in the lining of my gallbladder. Surgery was done and I felt like a new person. Pain and nasuea was gone.

I hope the dr. can find out what is wrong with you. If you have adhensions a lot of times they will grow like grapevines and attach to other organs of their body. Mine attached to my intestine. The only way the dr. found it was he did an exploratory surgery. I finally convinced him the pain was not in my pain and something had to be done. He apolozied for letting me suffer for so long. I was in surgery for over 4 hours, that how bad of shape I was in.

I am not trying to scare you, but just letting you know that sometimes drs. overlook things. Honestly, it sounds like your gallbladder.

Please let us know what you find out.

LOVE, HUGS AND PRAYERS,

VICKIE (GA)
