I got sick within a few weeks of getting the implants, and the bottom

line is that before I got the implants, I had none of these

problems. Within a few weeks of getting them, I suddenly had strange

pains in my feet, my hands, my arms, my legs, dizziness, heartburn,

lymph node pain, joint pain - the body I knew changed drastically in

a matter of a few weeks. I am scared that I'll never have my old

body back, but I know I can't keep these things in my body. If

they're out, I don't have to worry about them. I feel like I'm

fighting for my life and I'll do what I have to do to get it back.

Tonight I went to a birthday party for a family member. My sister,

who has been there throughout this entire ordeal and who also

believes it's the implants said " I had a dream last night that you

had Lyme disease " . It's so hard for people to accept that implants

make alot of us sick, and I think everyone wants to believe it's

something that can be resolved by taking a pill. I've had a number

of blood tests for Lyme, and hopefully after 6 months of feeling like

this, my bloodwork would have shown Lyme if I had it.

HOLY SMOKES!! That is unbelievable!! I can't believe I was so nieve

about it. But I have to admit now that I have breasts I am so so

scared of being flat again. Or worse deformed. I know I have read

all the success stories a thousand times but I am just scared that I

might be that one who doesn't get so lucky.

I would be more scared of staying sick! Believe me, you will only

continue to get more symptoms. I had mine for eleven years and as

time went on my symptoms progressed from fibromyalgia type symptoms

to lupus and scleroderma type symptoms. I went slowly downhill for

about nine of those years and then suddenly was on the fast tract to

hell after the stress of my husband dying unexpectedly accelerated

the pace. By the time I had them out I honestly felt I was dying

and would leave my fourteen year old daughter without either

parent! Getting my implants out saved my life. But it wasn't the

only thing. I also have had to do alot of detoxing and diet changes

and was on the antibiotic protocol to bring my scleroderma symptoms

under control. Now I am so much better. The thing is once you know

the truth about implants causing sickness, how could you ever be

happy having them in you? I would be always worrying about what

they were doing to my health. I am flat again, and I wish I weren't

but it isn't nearly as important as having a life again! My second

husband and I have so much fun together and take trips and are

involved in lots of church activities. Before I got my implants

out, I was so dizzy and drunklike and in pain and overwhelmingly

fatigued, that my favorite place was my bed. I was in it huge

chunks of everyday. Breasts can't compare to having a life! You

just have to focus on the positive---the majority of ladies get

significantly better after explant. There are no guarantees in

life, but that was enough for me to know.
