Workman's Comp / Medicare / LGHP

A patient was referred to our program and stated that he has worker's

compensation insurance / Medicare and LGHP which is through his wife. He is

stating that we can take the workman's comp insurance and Medicare and leave his

LGHP out of the picture. Does anyone know if I can do that? Medicare would

become primary on 1/1/10.

I'm going to call the attorney tomorrow to see if his kidney failure is due to

the work accident. Any suggestions or words of wisdom as how to proceed would be

greatly appreciated. I've not had this scenario in our transplant program and

unsure how to handle. Thanks.
