Guest guest
Kathie, I definitely have had dental problems since implants, and before them my dental health was pretty good. In addition to TMJ, which developed suddenly after geeting implants, I have also had a sudden increase of dental decay. My dentist has noticed a relationship between implants and dental problems and thinks it is due to the decrease of NK cells when the immune system is depressed, which increases the body's susceptibility to disease. Melinda DENTAL HEALTH AFFECTED BY SILICONE? has anyone else had more dental/gum/tongue problems since their silicone/saline implants? Guest guest
Within the past month or so, I've noticed my teeth seem to ache, and it's not one tooth in particular, it travels around. I never had that prior to implants. Guest guest
That is exactly what I am dealing with now. It is scary to me, as I never had major dental issues before. I have burning and pain in my upper molars now, after just getting through 2 root canals in my back lower molars. That was not a good experience either, since the endodontist finally ended up filling in the root while leaving the broken file inside of me. He claims it was stainless surgical steel and shouldn't be a problem, but that does not make me feel any better, knowing what I know about how I react to metals and implants! This is just another one of those common problems we seem to have to endure after exposure to these crazy implants.
