Thank you ! I'm happy to hear SSSS is still on

and work is underway. I feel so bad for all those

whose lives were forever altered by the Hurricanes.

Please give Deb our regards!

Hi Rogene,

It's Deb's assistant, (we've spoken before). Deb wants me to

keep you up to date with the SSS Study because you have been such a

tremendous help to us.

Pretty much it is like the past 6 weeks didn't occur. We are just now

really beginning to pick up where we left off before the hurricane.

Deb and I are in St. Louis for the time being, setting up an office

here. We are moving along with the study but at a slower pace as we

get our lives back in order and realize what a priority funding is

right now.

We are trying to capture any women interested in participating who are

getting explanted immediately - for them we are sending out kits ASAP.

We are hoping that anyone else who is interested but does not have an

explant in the very near future can understand that we are still

recovering from a hurricane wait until we get further along ourselves.

We are collaborating with as many people as we can on the research,

scientific, political, fund raising sides....and other than that there

is not much to report.

I hope this finds you well. We will be in touch.

Best,

Deb,

I've thought of you often . . . with all the TV

coverage of N.O., it's difficult not to.

How are you and your family fairing? Has your husband

joined you? Did your home survive? Did your business

survive? Are you settling into the St. Louis area?

I know things are probably still hectic! I cannot

imagine what I would do! The devastation is so

widespread. . . I don't see how N.O. will ever be the

same.

Praying for you and wishing you well,

Rogene
