Guest guest
Not really; not yet. But this post should begin an ever decreasing presence. What I needed from ASPIRES, I got; my wife and me are fine. What I could give to ASPIRES, I did; hoping it might be useful to some. Now, when I think of giving more - answering posts - I'm coming up blank. Autism hasn't changed, and won't. Human nature hasn't changed that I can see. Those who post here have changed, but their stories haven't. Same problems at root demand much the same answers. People here, younger than I by far, have the answers. I've nothing more to give. I'm jaded; need a change; need time for other interests. My *intention* (The road to Hell is paved with...) is just read the mail for awhile. Maybe *rarely* answer one By degrees, slowly move on; fade away like MacArthur's Old Soldier. But I was raised " old-fashioned " . It would be churlish to just fade away without a word. I've had a very good run in ASPIRES and enjoyed meeting many fine people from whom I learned a lot. I'll miss many, and hope some will want to correspond privately. - Bill, dx AS -- WD " Bill " Loughman - Berkeley, California USA http://home.earthlink.net/~wdloughman/wdl.htm
