Guest guest
-HI. I am glad that you got the implant. He certainly could have done a more thorough job. Doctors are so ignorant. They make decisions on their own that affect our health and don't bat an eye while they are doing it. I would continue to pursue the implant contamination and also to start detoxing your body. If you continue to see improvements, it is possible that you will be fine without another surgery. Certainly your body is already better off for having those things out of there! I would make sure to include alot of natural antifungal/antiviral/antibacterial supplements in your diet. EAting garlic and onions is helpful as well as using coconut oil . Certainly using primal defense would be helpful and I would also take oil of oregano and olive leaf extract. These are two powerful and natural substances that kill a wide variety of pathogens. Detox baths will also help. There are many things you can do to help your body release its toxins. Just be aware that all of these things can cause your body to have a " cleansing reaction " or herxheimer. That means that while you would think you would feel better, it is very possible to feel worse while your body is eliminating these things. Everyone is different in how their body will respond. It is important to listen to your body so that you will know when something is helping and when it isn't ---having a herxheimer is a good sign. But too much of one can make you feel terrible and possibly be counterproductive. Many women think they are actually getting worse when in fact they are just herxing. Usually a good way to tell is to stop the supplement for a few days and see if you feel a little better. If you do, you can be pretty sure it is what you are doing that is causing you to feel temporarily worse, not that you are getting worse. Herxheimer symptoms can be muscle, joint pain, spasms, fatigue, headache, dizziness, fever, just about anything--including worsening of old symptoms or addition of new ones. Are you doing any detoxing yet? Hugs kathy -- In , " busyannbee " <busylikeabee@h...> wrote: > > UPDATE: > Hello ladies, > > I went for my follow up appointment today. Guest guest
Hello Kathy, Thanks for all that information! I have not started detoxing yet. I was thinking of visiting a naturpath in the near future. I have a whole food juicer and plan to start juicing this week. Has anyone tried an infared sauna, for detoxing? Guest guest
Hi ann Yes I own a far infrared sauna. I really like mine. I know one woman on our site that felt it really helped with some of her neuropathy symptoms. I often got a headache when I used the sauna and I am pretty sure it was a detox symptom. It really does make you sweat perfusely. Some cities now have spas you can go to and use their Far infrared saunas instead of buying your own. Detox baths work very well also and are alot cheaper. Using epsom salts works well. So does sea salt and also bentonite clay. I really herx to bentonite clay for me it was quite a strong detoxifier. Good luck hugs, kathy > > > > > > > > > >Well I see him on Friday? > > > > > > > > > >He said he took pictures and will give them to me > > > > > > > > > >Maybe I should call him today to get the implant > > > > > > > > > >The article says it is our own tissue? what do you > > mean > > > > by > > > > > > that? > > > > > > > > > >can you forward the article to me please? > > > > > > > > > >No it was not ruptured. Guest guest
Ann, I have a far infrared sauna - so does Patty. You can get a lot of info by doing a websearch. . . check a number of brands. . Each has their own way of explaining it. I really enjoy mine! . . . It helps get rid of aches and pains . . . my peripheral neuropathy is all but gone. My anti-health hubby even enjoys using it. You don't feel wiped out with far infrared like you do with steam or dry saunas. The air temp is actually relatively cool. They are economical to operate too. There are times when the sweat I experience while using the infrared sauna is incredibly stinky! . . . I'm not sure what I'm getting rid of . . . but, obviously it need to go! L.Ron Hubbard wrote a book " Clear Body, Clear Mind " a long time ago . . . He describes how sweat therapy can get rid of toxins. (I figure everyone is entitled to one good idea - I don't like his scientology ideas though!) . . . The Church of Scientology has detox centers set up across the country that use saunas. It is important to increase water soluable vitamins when working a sweat program intensively. Guest guest
Ann, Juicing will be a great addition to a detox program. Just remember to take it slow if you start to feel toxic again. I could handle carrot/apple juices okay, but once I started juicing alot of greens, whoa, watch out! That nasty brain fog was back in no time and made my life miserable. I think it has something to do with elevating cytokines....but in any case, I had to cut back on my juicing of greens. I also have an infrared sauna and love it. It is great for kicking up a good sweat and making you feel cleaned out. If I use it before I go to bed, it makes me sleep like a baby. However, after I was first explanted, it made my brain fog worse as well, so I had to cut that back for about a year and then when I started using it again, I wrapped my head in a wet towel. Now I can use it with no problems, so over time I have seen exactly how much I have improved. Same goes with sugar....it would make me get brain fog right away, but since I have detoxed and feel good as new again, I can tolerate sugar. As a matter of fact, I am eating way more of it lately than I should be! And geeze, here comes Halloween! I should be the one taking my kids out, but I've got my ankle in a cast again and so it looks like I'll be manning that candy bowl. NOT a good thing! Beth Lakey, who used to post on this group also had great results with her sauna usage. She had neurological problems that cleared up quite well with heavy metal detoxing and if I remember right, the two therapies she used most were the magnetic clay baths and saunas. It is so good to hear the stories of women getting well again, and she was one of them! You will be too....learn all you can about detoxing and do what you are comfortable with, and slowly but surely you will get your health back. Be tenacious...be patient. It will happen!
