Guest guest
Grief is a personal issue that everyone experiences differently. Different individuals have different experiences and relationships with those that have died and that relationship defines how they feel about that person. So generalising and judging individuals is done from our own perspective which may be shared by others but not necessarily all. We are complex beings with light and dark shades. Some are darker than others. Some of us are exposed to the darker sides while others experience the lighter sides. Greg: I totally agree with what you said as it supports my personal value system and we all have different values. I think sometimes when people pass on, the folks that knew them the best try and remember the good things and not the bad things they did to other's or themselves? It is an individual thing. Maybe it goes back to supporting other's with a different value system then yours? A person can be like Jennie described in an earlier post but at death is still someone's son/daughter/sibling/relative or friend they knew once in their life time. They **may** choose to remember the good times and not the troubled soul they became or the harm they did to others or themselves??? Just guessing? Just my humble opinion.
