Melinda,

I talked to Molly yesterday. Their phone is working.

The force of the hurricane caught everyone by

surprise.

They are still without electricity. They have a

generator, but it's providing only a limited amount of

electicity. She can get online, but only briefly.

Except for the roof tiles, their home survived almost

unscathed - if there's no structural damage when the

large tree comes off the roof. Their yard was pretty

much decimated with all large trees down - including

one in the pool. Fence blown away, etc.

They are both sore from all the work of picking the

yard. They've spent hours in line to get gas. Water is

now usable. Her major concern is that it will get hot

again before the power comes back - expected to be the

end of November for her area. She wants to get the

tree out of the pool and the pool clean so she can get

in it.

She said that at one time she said she wanted to see a

hurricane . . . Her hubby wasn't so sure about that!

She said she's seen all the Hurricanes she cares to

experience.

I know Shari is safe too . . . but don't know if she

has power yet.
