I know there are Whole Foods stores and Wild Oats stores in Ohio somewhere.

You might check out their websites and see if they are close to you. If

they aren't, perhaps you could shop every few weeks to get what you need. I

have a good friend that lives in Ohio and more and more organic stores are

popping up all over the place. I hope you can find one.

Hi ,

There are no magic bullets when it comes to healing, and it does

take differing lengths of time for each woman. There are so many

factors that can affect how deep seated the illness is, and how

quickly a woman bounces back, that it is hard to be specific in

terms of what works for healing and how long it takes. Things like

how well the liver functions, how long the implants were in before

getting sick, environmental exposures, the extent of allergies, the

diet and nutritional balances, hormonal balances, how much a woman

exercises, what detoxification therapies are used....all these play

a role in how fast or slow a woman heals.

There is one thing that we always caution women who are going

through explant to make sure they have done, and that is a proper

removal of the implant and all of the scar tissue. We recognize

that there are times when a total capsulectomy has not been

performed, but I think we can say with a fair degree of certainty

that having a proper explant increases your chances of healing well

substantially. That scar tissue can harbor pathogens which can

prevent full healing.

However, we don't want women to be frightened or panicked about

this. Healing takes a very long time--in many cases, years. My

healing took 4 years. I felt very poisoned even 18 months after

explant. I remember this because we had just moved from one home to

another in a different state and when I tried to decorate or fix up

my home, I just totally felt like I was dying when I left to go

shopping for household items and I thought it was futile--that I

would never, ever get better. I was in great despair about my

healing. I checked and rechecked my operative report to make sure I

had a total capsulectomy and still I felt overwhelmed with fatigue.

But slowly, surely, things got better and better after adding in

more and more detoxification techniques. I left no stone unturned

in my effort to get better, and I had faith even when things looked

dim.

My point is this: give your healing more time. If you feel at some

point that you are not making any progress, you may want to look

into getting your scar tissue removed. Give it a full year. Do

things to prompt your body to give up toxins, like drinking lots of

water, exercise, saunas, rebounding, avoiding processed foods. Don't

stress or allow stress to build in your life. Try not to worry

about things. Live life to the fullest that you can, and find ways

to increase your joy in living. Trust God, have faith that He hears

you. Stay as positive as you can. Let God guide you to the answers

you need. Have peace.

In time, you should begin to see gradual improvements. Mine were so

gradual I almost missed them. But they happened. If, after a period

of time you are not seeing any improvements whatsoever, then it

would be time to look into other actions to take, but until then, be

patient and let your body do what it can do best naturally with just

a little help from you to give up those toxins.

Hugs,

Patty

Since your stomach is always swollen, I'd suggest

reading " The Maker's Diet " or " Restoring Your

Digestive Health " . . . both by Rubin. You can get

them online from a number of supplement distributors -

probably from amazon.com too.

Chances are your digestive system is messed up and

you're not getting the benefit from your foods or

supplements your body needs.
