Meeting with Surgeon

Hi everyone

I am still set to go for explant on Wednesday, 19th. I met with my

surgeon today (he is the surgeon who put these in 8 1/2 years ago, and

three years ago said they were definitely not the cause of my

illness). He has really changed. I have been praying about my meeting

with him - I thought I was going to have to be very firm in requesting

that he remove the entire capsule, and as soon as he came into the

room, he said " I'm removing the entire capsule " - he said he awoke in

the middle of the night and knew he had to remove the entire capsule

and that it was the right thing to do. He is a good surgeon, and I

feel that I am in the right doctor's hands. It must be very hard for

the doctors if and when they come to the realization that the implants

could be making women sick. I think my doc is going through this

transformation. It's awsome really.

While I was waiting for the doc to come into the room, my husband

appeared in the doorway (he had a really big job today and said he

couldn't come). I just hugged him for the longest time.

I physically feel awful, but I have so much hope that I am going to get

better after these things are out. Thanks for your support.
