Guest guest
Hi Rogene, Thanks for asking! I've been on antibiotics 2 weeks now and waiting for blood culture results. I don't have to do IV unless my blood cultures come back positive; still waiting for results. It's funny, all this time, prior to surgery, I was treating for yeast, but think my problem was mold/fungus. I'm back on Primal Defense because of the 2 antibiotics, but think I need to do a bottle of fungal defense because that is one I haven't tried. Around the same time I had the wound culture, I had a white film all over my body and my hair and skin smelled like mold. Think my body was getting rid of what was still in my chest. Try to convince the dr.s of that; YEAH, RIGHT! I saw one of your previous posts, was it olive leaf or oregano oil you recommended for me to try? Thinking back, 2 yrs ago I was on 6 mo. of Augmentin and my skin cleared up; wonder how long I had a staph inf. Hugs to you! Cheryl PS: Thanks for getting me this far! Guest guest
Cheryl, As far as I'm concerned Olive Leaf extract and Oil of Oregano do about the same things. . . Patty used both when traveling in India. She was the only one in her group not to get sick! I haven't used Olive Leaf extract but some of our women have and feel it helps. I've found Oil of Oregano helps me. I'd suggest doing a websearch for both supplements and see what the experts have to say. I've never researched them - I've been taking recommendations from women here! Have you tried the spit test? . . . You may have the worst under control already. Also, eating fresh, raw, crushed garlic can give one a big boost . . . It's one of the best natural medicines available . . . Antioxident, antifungal and antibiotic. Patty considers 12 clove a day appropriate. I've never been able to do more than five! I just wish we had the medical knowledge to understand our own experiences! . . . It's so puzzling. However, if we were medically educated, perhaps we'd be as blind to the obvious as most doctors are! Hugs, Rogene
