Guest guest
I went to get the first shot yesterday at the hospital for the Aranesp to stimulate my bone marrow to produce more red blood cells. They made another appointment for me to come back for another one next Friday too in case my insurance company still hasn't approved the medicine for me to give the shots to myself. The nurse injected it so slowly, I got bored. She said it has to be done that slowly. When I do it myself, I don't know if I can do it that slowly. The interferon injections I give myself for the Hep C treatment I inject very quickly to get it over with so I can pull that needle out of my leg as soon as possible. If I have to do it that slow, I will. The shot yesterday did give me a side effect of a headache, but that was to be expected with me. The wind can blow from the wrong direction, and I'll get a headache...lol...not really, but I'm very susceptible to getting headaches, especially when something different is going into my body. I slept all day today trying to get rid of the headache. At least, I haven't had any of the other side effects from that shot. The main one, she said, was bone pain. I hope everyone is doing well.
