Before he met me, most people would have described my DH in much the same way as you describe your fiance. At 49 and never having been married (waiting for me, no doubt!), he was settled into a life that he carved out for himself. WELL, when we met, I certainly put a ripple on the waters of his solitary, somewhat-staid lifestyle. Even now, my friends refer to him as " Oh He of the Permanently Raised Eyebrows. " Carol Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body " thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!
