Hi Jodi. Taking the Seriphos at bedtime is to lower Cortisol then to

help restore a more natural rythym and to help you sleep. I would take

the full three at bedtime as that is when it will do the most good. I

would NOT switch back to Synthroid as it is just a very poor med for

hypothyroidism! Synthroid is a good part of what ruined my adrenals as

it just doesn;t replace the hormones we need, thus the adrenals still

have to over produce to cover for it. Is there any stresses in your life

that may be causing the high cortisol?

Hi ,

I can't pinpoint any big stress. I'm not working and my marriage is

good. My current holistic doc thinks that I have mercury poisoning

from Hep B shots that were mandatory requirements for the nursing

program. I'm not sure how I feel about the mercury issue and I

really don't want to discuss that here. I just can't get rid of the

fatigue and I have a bunch of hypo symptoms that just haven't been

relieved on Synthroid or Armour. Although one good difference on

Armour is that the horrible joint and muscle pains have practically

diminished. They were quite incapacitating. So armour has helped

with something.

Do you know if the celtic salt helps when cortisol is high?

Thanks,

Jodi B.

Sea salt supports proper adrenal function so it will NOT hurt. It

normalizes the body and the adrenals, so I would think it might help.

How much Armour are you on?

always elevated at the docs but I'm also nervous. I need to dig out

my old blood pressure cuff and track it for a few days. I do remember

reading that your B.P. was very elevated until you took your health

into your own hands and added in the celtic salt.

Well what I was looking for in asking how much Armour you are on is the

reason your body thinks it is stressed enough to over produce Cortisol.

I think you have said it! You are still hypo. How long since a dose

raise in Armour? I am betting it is time for another.
