I am the President of the site. I can answer many of your questions. I am on Percocet 10/325 for fibro. Next step after that is Oxycotin. Most Docs. don't like to treat with drugs unless nessesary and with you already on Percocet they probably wouldn't give anything else. At least for a long time.

Yes by ALL MEANS call and ask the Dr. himself if possible how he treats Fibro. That way you can rule out the doctors to NOT see.

You might just approch the new doctor you see because more than likely they would send you to a Reumy. that treats fibro..

As far as telling them you have it You have your pych. that thinks you do but doesn't want to DX you and you have studied it and you know you do.

Many ways they treat but the things to start with is DIET best is Low carb. and stay away from Sugar, Any diet sodas or foods that haveAspertame in it, try finding products with and using Splenda as sweetner. Stay away from Caffine, Chocolate containes Caffine.

There are a lot of natural things you can use Joyce can give you a run down of them. There are lots of different ones who can tell you all kinds of alternative treatments. Pretty much everyone is different and on different treatments. There is no DEAD PAT treatment. And if Percocet isn't helping then you need some alternative because this soon they probably wouldn't put you on Oxycotin and that's the next step from percocet.

We have a nurse observing here maybe she can give you some answers as well. Her name is Jacqulin not sure that's spelled right.
