Guest guest
Ladies, I just got my olive leaf extract & primal defense in the mail, that I bought on Ebay. Ebay was definitely the way to go for less expensive prices. THe Olive leaf tastes AWFUL. I am dutifully putting it under my tongue, though. Hopefully it with Nystantin will just kick the rest of that candida out. How long do you take Primal Defense 4 in the AM and 4 in the PM? I had gotten up to the 4 and 4, with one bottle I just finished. Thanks!!!
Guest guest
Molly, Thanks for the tip on Ebay prices...I need to get the Olive Leaf stuff, too. Think that's the one Rogene said I should be on! I take Primal Defense too, but can't remember the directions on when to drop down, sorry. Molly, your posts were so late; are you not sleeping, again?! Cheryl

Guest guest
Hi - Yes, EBay is great, if you check prices elsewhere first so you know what is a good price. I have gotten Birkenstocks & Dansko clogs new on Ebay for half the price I could buy them at an online store. I did not sleep well a couple nights ...the new sleep medication is very 'subtle'. It certainly does not knock me out! But I have to stay awake during the day so I can get back into some normal schedule. I can't believe how difficult my sleep has been since I got sick from these blasted implants. I'm feeling better now, 18 months after explant, but I still am not sleeping well. > > Molly, > Thanks for the tip on Ebay prices...I need to get the Olive Leaf stuff, > too. Guest guest
Cheryl, Primal Defense is something you need long after you think you've got fungal problems licked! . . . The idea is that the benficial organisms in Primal Defense will gradually colonize. Once they do, you can cut back. That's where I think the spit test is so good . . . quick and free! . . . It helps you know if you're on track or not. Think of months! . . . In my case, it was several YEARS because I didn't stick with it consistently long enough. Finally, I bought a CASE of Primal Defense so I wouldn't cut back before I had my fungal problems under control. I used 10 of the 12 bottles before I felt that way! I still take some occasionally if I haven't followed my diet closely. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Molly, I'd suggest putting Olive Leaf Extract in some juice. I haven't used OLE, but I've used Oregano Oil . . . I can't imagine taking it without masking it with juice! Yeowwww! . . . I've found orange or grapefruit juice works well. As for Primal Defense . . . Just keep on keeping on until your spit test looks good for at least a month. The organisms in Primal Defense will finally take over the job of managing your fungal problems. It takes time! Adding naturally fermented foods to your diet can help speed you along. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Hi Rogene... I passed the spit test 2 months ago...might not now, so might take more. However, I'm wondering that is one stays on the Fungal Defense for too long does that keep the body's defense system too weakened?...Thus, should one take both the Fungal Defense and the Primal Defense at the same time? I kind of remember you saying to do each separetely. If so, then should I build up with the Primal first now and then go back to the Fungal? Guest guest
Shirley, I repeated Fungal Defense several times because I quit Primal Defense too soon and relapsed. You can't take Primal Defense too long . . . And, unless you relapse, one bottle of Fungal Defense should be enough. Personally, I would check myself weekly until I was clear for at least a month. Then, after stopping, keep checking. If you start to relapse, get right back on Primal Defense. Keep in mind that Fungal Defense's job is to get rid of Fungus! . . . Primal Defense's job is to put important organisms back in the body that have been destroyed by antibiotics or suppressed immune systems. Don't take both at the same time. Hugs and prayers, Rogene

Guest guest
Hi Rogene, Yes, I found out how bad it tastes! (Yeowwwww is right!) I will keep taking Primal Defense for awhile. Thanks! > > Molly, > > I'd suggest putting Olive Leaf Extract in some juice. > I haven't used OLE, but I've used Oregano Oil . . .
