Guest guest
My mom got some red insect bites on her arm a couple days ago. Today they have blown up into small pockets of fluid. Never seen that before. Like she could pop them with a needle if she wanted. Just paranoid about TBDs. Though I have not heard of this type of bite pattern relating to TBD before. Thanks ~
Guest guest
Hi , I know how you feel about insect bites! Having lyme really makes me paranoid about any type of insect bite. Did your Mom actually see a bug bite her? If not she may have poison ivy. It causes redness, little blisters and usually itches. Ive had it a few times. Tick bites are not normally identified by blisters. /MI > > My mom got some red insect bites on her arm a couple days ago. Today they have blown up into small pockets of fluid. Guest guest
Good thought :-)That's what happens to my DH when he gets into those nasty bushes. Hi , I know how you feel about insect bites! Guest guest
Hi , I found out I can get poison ivy second hand! My husband can touch it and transer the oil to me! He doesn't seem to have an issue with it! I have a spot on my arm now, almost gone. I have not been out in the bushes or even the lawn, so it's another gift from him!! LOL! /MI > > > > > > My mom got some red insect bites on her arm a couple days ago. Today they > > have blown up into small pockets of fluid. Never seen that before. Guest guest
LOL - I get that! My DH is a freak about washing with the right rinses after he makes contact. He washes all of his equipment (pruners, saws, rakes, etc) as well. Apparently, it is the oil from the plant that spreads. 25% of people are not allergic. Lucky you! Oops - lucky him :-) Hi , I found out I can get poison ivy second hand! My husband can touch it and transer the oil to me! He doesn't seem to have an issue with it! Guest guest
Yeah lucky him is right! I don't get it bad thankfully, just a nuisance. But it happens most every summer. I re-infected myself several times a few years back after I got into it in NC. My shoes had the oil on them and unthinking, I kept touching it over and over. I finally woke up and washed my shoes and all was well. I didn't know the percentages of who was allergic to it. Looks like most of use are. /MI > > > > > > > > > > My mom got some red insect bites on her arm a couple days ago. Today > > they > > > > have blown up into small pockets of fluid.
