Guest guest
Cheri Welcome to the group . . . The list of symptoms that come with breast implants is very, very long . . . the pain you describe could very well be included. Unfortunately you won't know for sure until your implants are removed. Not the kind of promise you would like, but that's the truth. If these are the only problems you're having, you're still doing good! It can get much, much worse. Please check out some of the things you can do to start feeling better, even with your implants. I highly recommend " The Maker's Diet " (it's more than a diet book), and " The Yeast Connection " . Basically you should feel better on a sugar-free diet, minimal refined grains, no processed or junk foods . . . as organic as possible. Plus probiotics. We have a lot of information in the archives about diet and detoxing. You are unlikely to feel 100% as long as you still have your implants . . . however, making sure your nutrition is as good as possible can help you get better much faster. We've had a lot of women get better! . . . You will want to be sure your doctor will remove your implants " en bloc " and use drains following surgery. In the hands of a good doctor, you should look as good, or better. than you did before implants. If a doctor tells you that you will be deformed, consider that a description of his/her own skills and run! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Hi Cherie, Yes, I have arthritis because of my implants. The pain has improved since I had my explant a little over a year ago. Sorry this has happened to you. DarleneCherie <cheriesut@...> wrote: I am working on getting a date for explanation, and worrying about things while I wait. I have developed arthritis of my sternoclavicular joint - pain in between my shoulder blades and on my chest wall, and front of my neck. Pain is so bad now that I can't even get my shirt on and off over my head, and wince in pain just to roll over in bed. Am I right to suspect my implants? Have other women had this problem? If so, have others healed from these types of problems? Thank you.Cherie for Good Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. Guest guest
Thank you for your help. I am seeing that you take a lot of time to help others too. In preparation for surgery, can you lead me to information that would help me to know what types of natural supplements to take or not to take - both before and after surgery - to speed my recovery and start the healing process? I am going to look into The Maker's Diet, have heard of it before. I am pretty careful with what I eat, having tried almost everything to try to feel better. I hope this note makes sense. Guest guest
Cherie, Between the Maker's Diet and Dr. Kolb's protocol, you should begin seeing a pattern. You can't expect either to make you well if your implants are at the root of your health problems. However, it will give you a head start on getting better. Just keep looking towards the future. It won't be long before you'll start getting your life back! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Yes....implants can cause arthritis, joint pain and other forms of stiffness and all over pain. I had a terrible stiffness in my neck from my saline implants. My neck hurt so bad and felt so weak that I practically had to lift up my head with my hands to roll over in bed. It was so painful to try to just turn my head and roll. That's all gone now. It took a long time, but it happened. Work on a detox program that you can implement at your comfort level. The key to getting our health back and staying healthy is to learn to take care of our major organs and keep them functioning well. Detox. Detox. Detox.
