Thanks for your prayers. Please pray that the finances will ease up and (my nephew) will get on his feet and serve the Lord.

You all have my thoughts and prayers. keep us posted

on how things go. God does hear and answer our prayers.

Warm hugs, Joyce

I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi guys,I have a prayer request that is urgent. I don't know whether to give you the long story or the short one. LOLThe stepson of my sister was released from jail in a town 30 miles from me Friday night, and I'm the only one who could pick him up and help him. I have no room for him; he's sleeping on the floor beside me and my husband's bed.I also have no gas money and we're on the last of the food money (I mean we're buying food on a daily basis out of $60 that's left till the 3rd of next month.) I guess you've all been in that situation once or twice in your lives.Anyway, he's not a bad boy or violent, just a little slow and chooses his friends unwisely. He had no clothes, no way to get a job or transportation back and forth to that county for reporting or working. So, here's my prayer request. I need to ask the probation officer tomorrow to transfer his case to Florida so he can go home with his step mom and dad.I really need it, and think it's what's best for him. But I can't see down the road in the future, and of course I want to abide by what God knows is best for him. Please pray that this will work out TOMORROW, not a month or two from now. I'm worried that this will put enough strain on my marriage that it might nearly destroy my family if it goes on too long.Rod's being very good and kind to him, and trying to help, but I don't want to push the issue. My sister in town can't have him there because she's taking care of 5 extra kids and trying to please the department of family and children services. Thanks for your prayers. Please pray that the finances will ease up and (my nephew) will get on his feet and serve the Lord. Thanks so much. I hope you are all doing ok too and I'll be praying for you all.

========I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose- Carlin

I am praying for your situation and I do hope things change for

the better for you. Have you ever tried to go to a church and ask for

help? Sometimes they have some supplies or can point you in the right

direction. or Lutheran Social Services..you don't have to be a

Lutheran either. I wish I could invite you over to supper here...we

always have something to share. I fix alot of homemade soups, and

breads...

Keep in touch,

Janet M.
