Guest guest
We are reviewing a possible donor for a kidney exchange – our donor team is requesting a psych eval in addition to the testing received. The other center is asking that our center pay for that eval since they already accepted the donor but the crossmatch won’t allow the transplant at their center so they entered the swap process. Our potential recipient does not even know this exchange might happen – the first step is for the donor clinical team to accept the potential donor from the other hospital. Since donor charges go to the Cost Report & the other center wants the swap also, the donor psych eval charges would go to them? Any thoughts most welcome!
