Guest guest
and all, Law enforcement and divorce seem to go hand in hand. There are too many reasons, causes and excuses why this happens to go into here, but there is a great book out there that talks about family problems and law enforcement, the stress of the job, officer involved shootings, suicide by cop and so forth. The book is titled, " I Love A Cop " by Ellen Kirschman. I recommend it for all officers and dispatchers to read. Especially for your family and officers familys, it gives them a great insight into what the job is all about. Behr Univ of CA Police Dept. Guest guest
Late thank you for the recommendation on the book -- I'm ordering it from the library. << ment, the stress of the job, officer involved shootings, suicide by cop and so forth. Our schedules have been total opposites since his friend Pete (the US Marshal) died last week, however, I know from experience (at least for him) that it doesn't hit till at least a week later so we'll both be off when the time goes for him to need to talk about it. Some of my friends though, they are really struggling with this -- 4 separations going to divorce in the past 9 months.
