Guest guest
Below is from another list I am on and may help some with adrenal insufficiency that are afraid of Hydrocortisone: I agree also. I was on Cortef as part of a program to heal my adrenals and did beautifully with it until I was able to switch to adrenal glandulars. No side effects at all - just a basis for healing. It is certainly true that high dose steriods are very dangerous but that is totally different than low dose hydrocortisone. For anyone who wants to understand this more I recommend the book, Safe Uses of Cortisol by Jefferies. He did a lot of great work. Sharon > I agree. Guest guest
That was good to read. As you, I'm already on HC but i hope to stop it once my thyroid is up to speed. But what do you or others consider to be a physiologic dose. 30mg and under? Robin
