Guest guest
dear penny i heard on thre radio that smelling green apples was suspose to help reduce headaches. " Smelling Pleasurable Foods. One interesting study suggested that smelling certain pleasurable foods may reduce migraine pain. (The study used green apples as part of the experiment; patients with headaches who liked the smell of green apples had less pain. The scent had no effect on those who didn't like the fruit.) I started the increase this morning, and now I feel very tired. I just hope I don't get a headache. Other times when they increased the pills, I got a headache. My red blood cell counts are holding steady for now so I don't need the Procrit shots yet. My liver numbers have gone up again and my coordinator was going to tell my hepatologist about that, of course. I have developed sore and swollen gums now as one of the side effects from the treatment. That's a lot better than the other side effects that I haven't had. My coordinator told me to gargle with salt water, and my husband bought some baby Orajel for me...lol. The Orajel helps for a very short period of time. As long as I don't talk much or chew too much, it doesn't bother me at all. I hope everyone is doing well. Penny
