Guest guest
You can buy the book on Amazon.com. They have it new or used. I bought a used copy for about $6.00. If I would have bought it a day earlier I could have bought it for less than $4.00 Ken Hawn ville, Fl " What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal. Guest guest
Thanks, Ken. I have been keeping on eye on there and Ebay, but now... ugh, don't want to wait forever for it to get here. Nothing like the " last minute " to cause one to spend more than they should! I will check againg, though! -Lianne > You can buy the book on Amazon.com. They have it new or used. Guest guest
You've got the right idea here Lianne. It is a great idea to change up your routine. Not only does it prevent or illeviate boredom, but it works out other parts of your body that might not be getting hit with the previous exercises. Even subtle shifts in where a muscle is used to perform the exercise can be felt in a big way. Also, I agree that when we tax our bodies the way BFL has us working, it will have an effect on our mood and energy levels, albeit temporarily. You know I am doing a half-marathon training currently instead of BFL (but I am missing it so much I look forward to getting back to it) and my body is clearly under extra stress from the miles I am putting in weekly. I feel so tired some days I could just fall asleep in the middle of an appointment with someone. But I know my body is working hard to adjust and adapt to these demands and I have to be patient and considerate in how I handle my body's responses. So I work to have the attitude that caring for my body is like caring for a prized horse. To make it into a champion, I have to treat it well. After putting it through intensive training, I must give it adequate rest, stress free environments where possible, plenty of good nutrition and water, and lots of appreciation. BTW, do you have pictures on the site yet? I don't remember looking at any of you.
