Guest guest
Oh Lea, I'm so sorry . . . Mold can hurt cats, dogs, and especially anyone with a compromised immune system. Please get out of there ASAP! . . . I'm sure that " cold " you have is mold related. You must be very careful about how you move . . . Everything must be sanitized very carefully before moving it into another residence. I'd suggest all your clothes to a laundromat to wash - with bleach or disinfectant. Run everything possible through your dishwasher. Use a new cardboard box to put freshly cleaned things into. - Then throw it away as soon as you unpack it. Do everything you can to keep from moving anything contaminated into a new residence. Talk to Marti <forjustus@...> about what has to be done. She's gone through this four times! She had to leave EVERYTHING behind. She has to wear a clean-suit just to walk through her old house. Hopefully you can find justice in court! . . . This is awful! Love, Rogene
Guest guest
On cleaning mold... We just had our basement cleaned of mold and this is what the experts told me... DO NOT scrub anything! Spray everything with a bleach solution and let it dry out comepletely WITHOUT scrubbing it. Scrubbing it releases th mold into the air and the spores will continue to grow all over and in new places. If you just soak the mold with a bleach solution and allow it to dry completely then it actually kills the mold. Before we had it removed, I dd spray it and leave it, and I went back and did it again, and it worked!

Guest guest
- Lea that is such bad news. I am so sorry. It seems sometimes that things keep happening that can really weigh us down. I know this has probably been talked about before, but is there anyway you can sue the former owners of the house? It would seem like there should be something to be done legally. If the mold contractor things there is nothing that can be done you might get a second opinion. If that opinion stands, it would be wise to get out of that house at all costs. Mold can make you and your animals very very sick. I have known people on the rheumatic sites that have been seriously ill from the same thing you are describing. It takes them years to get well again. Your health is precious and already guarded. If there is no way to fix the problem, please don't stay there. You will not have a chance of regaining your health while living with that contamination. I have been doing a search on mold problems and it seems it very expensive to get rid of and even then you can't be sure it is gone. It can definitely also affect your pets. But I am more worried about you. Please find a way to get out of that house. You are in my prayers. love, kathy -- In , " Lea " <devans@c...> wrote: > Re: Re: Having vaginal problems again-help!Dearest Kenda: > > I have just spoken to the mold man and he told me that I must move. Guest guest
Hi Lea, I would definitely get the cats out. If the mold is harmful to you, it is harmful to them, probably even more so because of their delicate immune systems. How long does he say you must be out of the house? If they say you have to leave, I wouldn’t even try to protect yourself, I’d get out. Mold can be very dangerous. Most molds aren’t dangerous, they just make us feel bad. Obviously the mold in your home is the dangerous type. Please get out. Kenda Dearest Kenda: I have just spoken to the mold man and he told me that I must move. He has found Penicillum and other mold in our home. We have nowhere to go. Honey do you know if this type of mold could hurt the cats? I am so sick with a cold and I must be careful because the mold could cause more problems for me. Do you have any ideas on how we could protect ourselves from the mold spores?
