Guest guest
Lynda, Were you using a far infrared sauna? . . . They function much differently than either steam or dry saunas. The air isn't heated so much as the body. Studies show that peripheral neuropathy improves in as little as one far infrared treatment - as shown by ENG's. My daughter tells me they are getting outstanding results with Alzheimer's patients. However, they use infrared pads and light pads on an affected area since using a sauna would be difficult for the staff and patients. The deep heat mobilizes the bodies defense mechanisms. You can keep the door open and get the benefit from the light without the heat - but with heat, you also get better detoxing via the sweat glands. You may feel worse temporarily though . . . just like any detox. Love, Rogene
