I have a script, and this price would be supreme. <I recently started trying oral E (gobs of it again) and it seems to work, but I am leery about it making me gain weight. > I use 20mg OOE, and weigh 100lbs. Thinner than I have ever been. Muscles are coming back, and sagging skin is a thing of the past. Hooray for E! < I like my OOE, but I’m always worried about contaminating the kids.> I worry about that too. Let me know if you figure something out. Glad to see you here again, nne
Guest guest
HELLO LAUREL!!! So THERE you are!! I thought you dropped off the face of the earth! (Well I guess you did) So how was Grand Cayman? (Wish I was there). Welcome back to the wonderful world of hormone hell What kind of oral E are you using? Sublingual or pills? If you read my previous post, you can see I STILL am having problems applying P. Unbelievable. Hope to hear from you soon ! > > Hi all! > > I went to Cayman for the winter to be with my family. Guest guest
Hi , I am not Laurel, but she did say she is using OOE. That stands for olive oil E drops. nne writes: <<What kind of oral E are you using? Sublingual or pills? If you read my previous post, you can see I STILL am having problems applying P. Unbelievable. Guest guest
Oh I know but then she said she switched to oral E. ___________________ Hi, I have been using OOE for months and months (occasionally with a patch on the side or some gel). About the last week I've been experimenting with oral E - the tabs made by Belmar Pharmacy (the one Vliet uses to get her T3 compounded). I'm doing ok with them, but I'm not sure if they are making me bloat up in my waist area. I'm batting Austin allergies and a round of nasty bugs right now (everyone around me is sick) so I can't fully tell what is going on, but the oral tabs are ok so far. When I first tried the oral E tabs (wanted to avoid any chance of contamination with my children) I found that I felt the E in the core of my body, but my extremities felt cold. I suspect I didn't have enough thyroid. In Feb of last year Wiley had strongly campaigned for me to view my rotten symptoms as thyroid related and got me to lower my dose. I later got my dose back to what I needed and this time using the oral E tabs I don't feel cold. I do like the ease of the tabs. I have noted (so far) that the OOE makes for more lubricated mucousa membranes (mouth, nose, vagina, labia) and the E tabs don't seem to convert the same way. It makes me wonder.... there is something about the OOE that makes for nice ratios. I showed my doc my test results (in Nov) after using OOE for months and he was thrilled with the ratios of the E1, E2, and E 3. Guest guest
Hi again Laurel - there is someone else who was trying those oral tabs from Belmar but we haven't heard back from her yet. You really seem to do well on OO though. I didn't have that luck on OO. Maybe I just didn't use enough. I am STILL bleeding after using 8 mgs of E cream for 3 weeks. For some reason, that damned cream seems to target my uterus but does nothing much else. I still have hot flashes!! And then I bleed. Could be my thryoid too though. I'm thinking I may try WIP OO because you all seem to do so well on theirs. Creams are too erratic for me. THey don't seem to get the job done. I was using 8 mg a day and only got a 60 estradiol serum level. Using 4 mg of E cream, I got ZERO! I just was not using enough P to stop the lining from building up. Are you using much P these days? I still think I'm very sensitive to it. > > > > Oh I know but then she said she switched to oral E. > > > ___________________ > > Hi, > I have been using OOE for months and months (occasionally with a patch on > the side or some gel). Guest guest
Well the oral tabs experiment hit the dust! I'm in Austin so the test is skewed towards failure to start with - allergies and then a mean-nasty-horrible-OMG-we-are-all-dying-from-coughing-our-lungs-out bug hit us. It was so bad I rescheduled my departure out of here. So here is the mix that tossed the equilibrium. I added oral iodine tabs from Standard Process (upping the need for more E perhaps) to the mix then worked in more and more of the oral E and dropped my WIP olive oil E. Remember my motivation for this is to lessen any contamination for my kiddos - not that OOE wasn't happy-land for me. Eventually I was switched over and thought I was sailing --- but NO, no, no! heh heh heh --- You know how the constellation of signs appears, but the groking of the significance takes more time...? I started bruising really easily and the bug that I thought I was fighting savaged my lungs. These are my signs that my thyroid (armour and t3) aren't packing the normal punch. It is always so hard to pull these puzzles together on my own. I might be yattering to my immediate loved ones in earshot (poor dears) - " hey, I'm bruising and my lungs are weak - maybe this oral E is screwing with my thyoid? " but do I do anything? No. I have to run it by Nuimom to help me go into full on GROK. OMG - get back on OO E and pull up that thyroid. And bam - the bruising is fading almost overnight. I have a huge whopper on my chin from Jack (my wild child 3 y.o.) knocking my face with his head by mistake. As for P. I stopped last spring and didn't see a bleed until the fall. Then I used wee P in cycles until my period was a scant whimper and then it just disappeared again. I had to stop the last month back in Dec because I had brought on the whole P overload thing again. Saturation comes on too easily. My last period was more like colored water. So - I have enough P in my body for now. Before I got saturated on P again I was at about 8mg of OOE a day (sometimes more). After the recent P saturation I'm more like 20plus mg of OOE a day. I mix a little gel with the OOE sometimes or rub my hands with alcohol to push it in and then wash my skin later (I'm trying to be safe for the kids). Guest guest
- get back on OO E and pull up that thyroid. And bam - the bruising is fading almost overnight. Laurel, I had no idea the bruising is from hypothyroid. This has suddenly been happening to my son that is on Armour. Maybe he needs more. I was actually thinking he did for other reasons also. Thanks, nne

Laurel Hi Laurel, I am thankful to hear the 20OOE number from another living person. I have been using that for awhile with 50mg P per day, and 14mgT. It is not too much at all for me and is sometimes barely enough. I definitely feel the iodine and armour compete for E. Lately I have been putting the E under my tongue to keep it away from my son. That is a huge concern for me also. The taste is nasty, but I thought it was worth a try. I can try the flavors next time I guess. It goes right in and the taste goes away, and I don't have to worry about the skin touching anyone. nne
Guest guest
Oh boy so you are still P saturated. I'm not surprised after how many months you were on Wiley. Well I'm doing 45 mg of the prochieve/crinone P gel for my bleeding and it's finally doing it's job stopping my bleeding, but you know my doctor would love for me to at LEAST double it. Unfortunately, I have no proof of P saturation - I just have my symptoms -- SORE breasts that are burning at the nipples and the crippling spasms of my muscles and doctors want to see serum numbers! I finally got some mesotherapy shots in my back that relaxed the damned spasms. I am hot flashing up the wazoo now because I dropped my 8 mgs of E cream to 5. I can't go without the P but 20 mg a day of P transdermally does not do a thing (which is what I was doing before I started heavily bleeding). You girls seem to really like the OOE from WIP. I think I may go back to that. I guess I will forget about oral E. I also don't know what's going on with my thyroid. My skin gets dry and itchy like crazy when I don't have enough E - but maybe it's the thyroid. I got up to a big whopping 60 on 8mg of E cream a day. Still not good enough but unless I can up my P, I'm screwed with teh bleeding! You are lucky! > > Well the oral tabs experiment hit the dust! Are you feeling your OOE lasts longer for you that way??? Last time I did sublinguals, I got blood sugar issues? Thanks,
