Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am having one of those days, after several visits to the doctor's, were I can't figure out why I have this pain inside my throat that goes down mid-chest. It seems to be worse with the heat and humidity. Could it be mold spores reacting with the (potential) mold in my saline implants leaking back into my tissues? I feel like I'm going crazy trying to understand this. It feels as if someone is slowly choking me. I don't get explanted until November, I hope it will help. Thanks to all and bless everyone (especially hurricane victims)... Carol
Guest guest
Carol, Shortly after getting my implants, I realize I was having these same symptoms. . . I did rounds of antibiotics that helped only a short time . . . When I called to get a new prescription, my doctor was out and his associate took my call. He looked at my record and told me that, with all the antibiotics I had taken, there was no way I had an infection. There was something else going on. That's when I noticed that my symptoms came on about an hour after arriving at work, and left an hour or so later. I was just fine over weekends. . . I went through allergy tests - turning out not to be allergic to anything in particular. I ended up quitting my job of 15 years because I couldn't handle being sick every day. At that time, they allowed smoking in the workplace. Later we moved into a new house in a new community. I started having problem again immediately . . I thought I was allergic to outdoor pollen and stuff, so I stayed indoors. Finally I decided to do a test. I went outside and did some deep breathing. My symptoms let up! It turns out, I was reacting to the paint, carpet, etc. When I figured out what was going on, I was able to open the house at night (later during the day) and let the house air. I also purchased a portable air-filtering machine with an ozone function. You may see if this applies to you. . . Regardless, see if you can keep careful track of when your symptoms come on, and when they improve. You may find that having implants has made you chemically sensitive. . . . If so, you'll get much better after your explant. . . You'll probably need to detox for a while before noticing a huge difference though. Guest guest
- Hi Could this pain be heartburn and esophageal spasms? I have had this and the description sounds like it. Heartburn can manifest itself as pain in the throat and chest pain--especially down the center of the chest. It can cause pain in your jaw, in your back, in your heart area, and even cause tingling running down into your fingers. I know because I have experienced all. I have found for me, that taking 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp baking soda inwater helps relieve this pain after about ten minutes. Unless it is really bad in which case it goes on for a long time. I have also had the feeling like I had a lump in my throat or that something was pressing against my neck--it was very uncomfortable. That went away after explant. Just a thought.
