Guest guest
Hi girls, newbies and old faithfuls alike! I wanted to share what has been going on with me, and tell a little about myself to those that are not familiar. I had implants for almost 9 years, I was implanted at 18, and had them explanted at 26. I was very ill, I had bells palsy , thyroid disease, neuro problems, ms like symptoms, twitiching, joint pain, headaches, weight gain, dizziness, numb feet, oh I hate to even go there! I had them removed by an excellent PS, took over 6 hours to get the smooth salines out, due to capsular infection,. and got better gardually over two years. I then went on to get pregnant for the second time, once well enough. To add to my 5 year old son. I just had a wonderful NORMAL pregnancy with a healthy baby boy, whom is now 8 weeks old. I wanted to reassure those of you considering that explanting will help, it is your only chance at getting well. And to those considering implantation, heed some advise. I got them. The whole finished boob thing to make myself "complete" and ten years later, Im back at square one. They are once again, small. Just this time I'm alot broker, (by the thousands) and with illnesses to tag. If only, I had accepted my self the way I was. Beautiful, young, vibrant, healthy. I have though now. In order to be well, I rid myself of them and took the chance. Against what all doctors told me. The chance at getting well and living a normal productive life! And I am. So productive, a little too busy, I am letting gently go of receiving the messages and asking to be removed from the list. It is with tears, that right now, I simply dont have time to go through all the messages, anymore. But to focus on our children, esp a time consuming baby, (good time consuming that is!) and the businesss. But, in a wierd way-I am happy to be at this point. Of being able to be busy, and active and healthy again. God healed me, through this group, and maybe if we all share some years here, like I have, the chain will continue to go on. I'm sure, that Patty and Rogene and Kathy will always remain, bless their hearts, I love them all! I'll miss you all, and love you so much. May God continue to heal those that come here broken and sick , or just answer their questions in truth. Please forward any messages to my personal email. God Bless, wrote:
Guest guest
Oh Gosh ! It is so good to hear from you, but of course it is with tears that I read that you want to be removed from our list! I have enjoyed our friendship, even though we haven't ever met or gotten to enjoy a close personal relationship. But of course, that is all my selfishness coming out.... I have to remember that you are a shining example of what this group is about! We are all about helping women get their lives back and live life to the full again. It is about changing the darkness and despair of this illness into joy and excitment of living life once again with renewed vigor and gratitude and being able to MOVE ON to a new future filled with hope. It is about getting health back and being educated about taking care of our bodies, with a new appreciation for what God gave us...to have a healthy perspective of what life really is about, a healthy perspective of our bodies, to know that life isn't about boobs or figures or outward beauty, but is about beauty of the whole person, the inside, the soul, and about relationships and love and family. You've graduated! I am so proud of what you've accomplished in your life. Thank you so much for being a part of us and for contributing so much of yoursel to others so they could have hope of getting their life and their health back. You have a new precious baby....may God truly bless all of you as you look forward to a new life together, and may you all prosper with health, wealth and true happiness! We will miss you! Guest guest
In a message dated 4/28/2006 7:06:04 AM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: MR (or mentally retarded) used to have three sub-categories ... mild, moderate, and severe. It was associated (when measured) with IQ of 50-70, 25-50, and below 25. There is history of earlier terms, but I won't go into them. Ah Rick my friend... you are so correct.... 50-70 range was educable... 25-50 was trainable... to be considered LD one had to be 2 years behind in academic studies... these were the classifications for the criteria to meet eligibility for SPED services, however, I allowed them only to check the box that stated she had a congenital birth defect.... Now to answer the question and some might think this is seriously not politically correct, but in my house: Tash says " It means it takes her 100 years to learn something, but she learns it and never forgets " Raven says " It means Tara is really smart, don't let her fool ya " I just say " She's retarded not stupid "
