Hi. This is my first post to this site. I got implants 4 months

ago. At about 2 weeks post op, my lymph nodes started swelling up.

I also had muscle spasms in my feet, which eventually spread to my

legs, which eventually turned into " zingers " of little sharp pains

throughout my body. Now my fingers and toes are getting sore. I saw

my PS yesterday and discussed explantation. My husband has pretty

much treated me like I'm a hypochondriac, and now that I've got him

listening to the fact that my immune system is causing these

problems, he wants me to go to an Infectious Disease doctor before I

have an explant. He's worried that I might have an explant, only to

find out that it wasn't the implants after all. I told him it seems

pretty clear to me that I was fine before the surgery, and then two

weeks later started having problems, but he wants me to make sure

this is the reason for my problems. I don't know if the medical

community embraces the possibility of implants causing these

problems, so I'm expecting when I visit an Infectious Disease doctor,

that he/she will not support the possibility of it being the

implants. Does anyone know of any doctors in New Jersey or New York

who aren't completely blinded by the FDA's stance on implants? Also,

is there anyone who has had these symptoms and then eventually

returned to normal after explant? I have never been this terrified

in my life, and am kicking myself for having this surgery. It's

ruined my life. Please take care in how you respond because I'm in a

bit of a fragile state at the moment, and I'm hoping to hear good

news stories regarding explantation. Are there any sites that deal

strictly with explantation that can help provide me with information?
