Guest guest Posted September 10, 2005 Report Share Posted September 10, 2005 Molly, I'd suggest getting tested for Celiac disease. If you do have Celiac disease, it's a very serious problem. You don't want to be doing it half-way . . . If and when you go fully into the diet, your body will become extremely sensitive to any gluten you do eat. A friend who has Celiac disease became violently ill and passed out cold after inadvertely eating a small amount of food that contained gluten. It took the EMT people to rouse her. Do a websearch for Celiac Disease. . . There's lots of information and recipes online. My friend maintains a website, primarily for people in the DFW area, but good info for anyone with the need.
