Guest guest
Kat... What a great idea to experiment with the recipes. I'm nervous about my first holiday season. Nothing on my plate, think I'm going to list a bunch of stuff on Ebay, trying to sell anything I can get my hands on to save $$$. Maybe watch a movie or two. Thats it though. Have a great day. Guest guest
Im going to stay home and be domestic! I dont get much chance in life to enjoy just hanging out and cooking but today I am! Im going to try out some of the new recipes Ive gotten this week that are low carb...like the Crustless Pumpkin Pie. Does anyone know what is special about Evaporated skim milk? Im wondering if I can replace it with Carb Countdown and have less carbs per serving then. Evaporated milk still has way too much lactose! Im also going to make egg custard which I LOVE and haven't had in ages! Im experiementing with holiday recipes before the holidays get here!! Whats on your plate for today? Guest guest
I want your recipe, after you've given it the taste test! All I know about evaporated milk is that it's milk with 60% of the moisture taken out of it. That makes it denser. I don't know how that stacks up against Carb Countdown, though. Are you lactose intolerant? Happy Day o' Domesticity, Kat! Melody > > Im going to stay home and be domestic! I dont get much chance in > life to enjoy just hanging out and cooking but today I am! Guest guest
Well... I got up and went to church (that's pretty much standard) and then went to the gym (which is also becoming standard!). I hit Target to pick up a few things, then to my dad's house for a few minutes, and now I'm home, contemplating which movie to watch. Sunday is the day where I try to do things for me. I don't do an awful lot simply because my week is usually filled. Sundays allow me to catch up on things--laundry, reading the paper, maybe a book or a movie! > > Im going to stay home and be domestic!
