Guest guest
Have you ever seen photographs of people that are split in half and folded over so that you see two of the same side? It's hysterical! People are not symetrical, we just aren't made that way. You're right that sometimes we need reminders that we aren't perfect, and we're not supposed to be. I just saw an ad over the weekend that impressed me so much, but darned if I can't remember who ran it! it showed some wonderfully diverse women and was speaking to the diversity of beauty and that this company was working to dispell the Hollywood stereotypical image. If I see it again I'll be sure to remember it.
Guest guest
Your message reminds me of a lady I saw in a resturant .. . . Her features were those of a classic Inca Indian - Like you see in rock carvings. She looked very different than anyone I'd ever seen before - and, I thought, exceptionally beautiful! I couldn't resist telling her so! I've wondered, because she looked so different than most of us, if she uaccepted her beauty or if she thought she was " abnormal " . So many women we see in the media look as though they've been designed with the same cookie cutter.
