Guest guest
I stopped keeping track. Here is why: I start my day with 24gms of protein right off the bat with my " coffee " aka carb countdown, instant coffee and davinchi sugar free syrups. I would say most of the time I eat a small bag of jerky which has another 24 grams of protein in it. Without even trying from here Ive already gotten almost 50 gms in without even really putting food in my mouth. I eat Carbwell bars for snacks, snack on cheese, nuts (occasionally because they are so high in fat) I always have some sort of meat source for dinner so breakfast and lunches are my bonus meals. I can default and still get in my needed 60gms a day. Today I did not do well with my meals because my stomach is VERY unhappy. I made myself eat but I doubt I got in my full protein. I HATE PROTEIN DRINKS YACK! Oh well once in 5 months is pretty good!! Kat think I will have some coffee! damn Im better than Starbucks and Im cheaper too! (but don't let that out )
Guest guest
<sigh> question, questions and more questions...... How much protein do you consume every day? Funny you should ask! Well since I was on a plateau I've been keeping very careful track of everything that goes in my mouth in an Excel spreadsheet. Over the last 6 days I've averaged 84 gms per day. What do you consume to meet your protein needs? one protein shake per day (15gms), 3 oz tuna(19gms), 3 oz chicken or fish(28-32 gms), Quaker Q-Smart snacks(14gms), some days (like today) I add a latte, protein bar or a second shake for about another 15 gms. Guest guest
For me I still have two protein shakes. For that gives me 52 grams of protein. That way I can get the rest of my protein usually 30 grams or so from food. It's still very hard for me to eat because I just dont get hungry. Guest guest
I get in at least 80 grams per day. Between protein drinks, tuna or chicken and protein bars, I know I get in enough! -- In GastricBypass-LOSERS , " Robyn " <wlsrobyn@y...> wrote: > > How much protein do you consume every day? > > What do you consume to meet your protein needs? > > Thanks, > > Robyn
