Hello,

I'm hoping that someone can help me. I have a patient that is being evaluated

for kidney transplant that has EGHP and Medicare secondary. EGHP will stay

primary as it is under his wife's employment. His EGHP states they will not pay

for organ acquisition costs for Cadaveric or living donor's. Since Medicare is

secondary would it pick up the organ acquisition since the primary considers it

non-covered?
