I am very happy with my c1 results, and am one of those who is very hesitant to try something new if what I've got is working. Restrictive doesn't throw me off, though... I don't do free days, it is just a rest day. Thanks for your input to Sara! I'll still investigate it, though... never know... I was pretty skeptical about BFL, supplements and the merits of weightlifting at the beginning of Jan., so I guess I'm not as pigheaded as I'd like to think I am. ;-) -Lianne
Guest guest
I was skeptical as well when I began BFL. Especially skeptical that I would be able to do this for the long term. My partner, Hugh was though BFL was a cult and then joined me a month later. He's fallen off the wagon once in the sense that he quit lifting. The amazing thing is that since I got him back to lifting last September, he has made such amazing gains in strength that he is quickly catching up to my weights. We do the same workout. Guest guest
Andy- I can see where he was coming from on that. My first impression was that it was rather cult-like as well. After Harsh's post, I've been checking into Leanness Lifestyle. The cost has me holding back some, but might give it a shot just to see what I can learn. -Lianne > I was skeptical as well when I began BFL. Guest guest
Harsh, Very nice summary of the zig-zagging calorie theory. This has worked very well for me in the past. I have been taking a more laid-back approach for the past year (almost) but now am at the point where I think I need to buckle down more. I still have a ways to go in my fat-loss quest, so am considering how stict I am willing to take it right now. Thanks again for the Reader's Digest version of zig- zagging.
