I believe it is animal protein we are to try and lower our intake of..  And, as

you say, especially beef.

I noticed the group talking alot about proteins. My doctor at Baylor

told me proteins are very important for your body to heal and build

tissue. Some are good, some are bad. He said fish and chicken a few

times a week is a good idea but avoid red meat. Just thought I 'd put

my 2 cents worth in.

We started off like that with Terry, fish and chicken, no red meats.  However,

by the time he passed, we had had to drop all animal derivative proteins from

his diet.  His liver simply could not clear them anymore.  Of course, by the

time he actually passed, he had not eaten more than a few bites a day for about

2 weeks.
