Guest guest
I believe it is animal protein we are to try and lower our intake of.. And, as you say, especially beef. My doctor at Baylor told me proteins are very important for your body to heal and build tissue. Some are good, some are bad. He said fish and chicken a few times a week is a good idea but avoid red meat. Just thought I 'd put my 2 cents worth in. Roni
Guest guest
We started off like that with Terry, fish and chicken, no red meats. However, by the time he passed, we had had to drop all animal derivative proteins from his diet. His liver simply could not clear them anymore. Of course, by the time he actually passed, he had not eaten more than a few bites a day for about 2 weeks. Warm Hugs...........
