The Moderate Plus Profile Saline fits dimensionally

between Mentor's moderate and high profile saline

implants and is the ideal complement to the saline

product family. To accommodate a full range of body

types, the Moderate Plus Profile Saline is offered in

20 sizes with a complete range of fill volumes.

" Surgeons and patients had requested that we introduce

a saline-filled breast implant with greater projection

than our popular Moderate Profile Saline product but

not the full projection of our High Profile products, "

commented H. Levine, President and Chief

Executive Officer. " We will continue to extend our

leadership position by launching high-quality product

line extensions that provide smart and effective

solutions that add value for our customers and the

patients they serve. "

In the U.S., Mentor offers a wide range of round and

shaped saline-filled breast implants for use in breast

augmentation and breast reconstruction surgery. In

addition, breast reconstruction patients participating

in the Adjunct clinical study may also choose from the

Company's round and shaped Memory Gel silicone

gel-filled breast implants. The Company's round Memory

Gel breast implants are currently under FDA review

for possible approval and market reintroduction in the

United States.
