Guest guest
Hey Norene, here. <><><><><>, I also have decided that I do not deserve the verbal and emotional abuse. The lies, the broken promises. <><><><><> Gets old after a while, doesn't it? <><><><><> I just found out that the paper he had me sign while in one of my deep depressions was a paper stating that he had paid me $10 for all rights to the property. All along telling me that I was having my name added to the title so the house was mine also. <><><><><> Check with your local Legal Aide. In many states, if you're still married and living together, that paper is worthless. It's all marital property. When we bought our place last year, everything was in DH's name because me credit isn't so good from not being able to work. But the property is still half mine because that's what Florida law says. One of the reasons I'm developing a seminar to teach women about money is to try to prevent this type of thing. If you know that you have rights, it's harder for someone to bully you out of them. <><><><><> I am sorry about babbling. I am just so glad to be home yet so depressed at the same time. Norene <><><><><> Babble on, kid. Home is good, but it can also be stressful if the person there with you isn't really with you. It took me five tries to get a good one.
